I think high-quality items lead us to high-quality results. Previously, I did not pay attention to the quality of clothes, I was more interested in the way my body moves or finding fun in sports activity.
My fitness clothes have always been very simple, what was at hand‘s reach was enough. However, over time I noticed that when I buy good new quality fitness clothes, my motivation increases significantly and I feel much better and I manage to do a lot more. It’s like conscious preparation and commitment to ourselves to continue on our fitness path. So I try to focus on the following points when I choose clothes:

The most important thing is to choose clothes according to their purpose. This can greatly improve the workout efficiency. Sportswear is created in a way to help deal with certain challenges, such as wind or injury.
It‘s clear that something that is suitable for yoga cannot be suitable for cycling. Yoga pants should be comfortable for different poses whereas cyclist pants may be thicker and from another material to get maximum comfort on the bicycle.
Footwear differs the most. The indoor gym shoes will completely differ from runners. Running with special jogging shoes, we can improve our workout and protect our feet from injuries and other unpleasant things. So, I think that clothes and shoes should be chosen according to your workout type.
The second important point is to choose the good quality material or at least the kind in which we feel the best. For example, some yoga pants cause allergic reactions, maybe their material is not good. I do not really like this type of pants. I wear it from time to time because I bought it, but I no longer intend to buy another pair. Maybe I bought a bad one. Now I pay more attention to quality.
If the clothes are uncomfortable, they will always annoy you and prevent quality workout. The clothes should be pleasant and comfortable to wear, then you can concentrate your attention on the workout.
I think beautiful clothes inspire us more and with more motivation we can do more. Therefore, I always decide if the clothes I want are cute and beautiful enough and then I also evaluate other important points like quality and comfort.
High-quality clothes are not cheap but this does not mean that they need to be very expensive. I always choose the middle segment to check the above points and the price that way still stays affordable.
But of course, all this sounds great in theory. But actually, when I buy clothes it often happens so that emotions take over and I choose clothes with a good look but not good quality. Maybe it happens more often for women. I don‘t know. But now I am really trying to follow these points. Because you can feel the difference between good and bad fitness clothes very quickly.
